BIO OF JAN KRIEL - SENIOR RECRUITMENT SPECIALIST

Jan started at Strategic Resources on 18th August 2014.

What did you want to be when you were at school?

I grew up in Pretoria, South Africa and wanted to be a policeman from an early age; something, that would involve helping other people.

What has been your proudest achievement since joining Strategic Resources?

It’s not one thing in particular, but every time that I receive a good report from a client it is a great feeling. It’s very satisfying to place someone in a role that meets the requirements and see the difference they make to that business.

What would clients/colleagues say about you?

Probably that I chat too much, or that I need to get better at my singing before the next Carpool Karaoke session!

What do you like to do in your spare time?

I have a 4-year old son, so most of my free time is spent watching Disney movies with him. I enjoy cycling and take my bike along the old railway line to get to work every day.

What’s on your bucket list?

I would love to travel through Asia on the Orient Express. I hear it’s very expensive, so I’d better get saving!
